Important Dates

  • 12/21-1/05: Winter Break- no classes at any of the centers. Make sure you practice! Beginners must have completed lesson 6 in order to participate in the Winter Concert.
  • 1/8: Combined rehearsal for Beginners and Intermediates. Beginners: 4:30-5:30pmIntermediates: 5:45-6:30pm. Grant Ave location, Denver. There will be  rehearsals at the other centers this week.
  • 1/8: Deposit for camp is due! The deposit is $100 and is non-refundable. Your health form will reserve your spot. Camp is June 3-7, 2018.
  • 1/15: No class at the Steele center– in observance of MLK Jr. day.
  • 1/21: Winter Concert! Lakewood High School, 2:30pm. Address: 9700 W. 8th Ave Lakewood, 80215 * Report times*Beginners: 1:30pm. Intermediates, Advanced Band, and Winds: 1:45pm. Report times may change at the discretion of the director.

New Tuition Costs
Semester Classes:
Beginning Band:

  • 1 student full year: $390 ($195 per term);
  • 2 students full year: $760 ($380 per term)

Intermediate Band, Advanced Band, & Symphony Winds:

  • 1 student full year: $460 ($230 per term)
  • 2 students full year: $860 ($430 per term)
  • 3 students: $1,260 ($630 per term)

Pop Rock:

  • NON-Member tuition full year: $390 ($195 per term)
  • Member tuition: $180 ($90 per term)

Summer Classes:
Summer Intermediates:

  • 1 student: $170
  • 2 students: $315

Summer Winds:

  • 1 student: $170
  • 2 students: $315
  • 3 students: $460
Pop Rock:
  • NON-Member tuition: $170
  • Member tuition: $70
New Students as of July 29, 2016:  An administration payment of $25 will be assessed to all new students and returning students who have been gone 2 semesters or more. This non-refunded fee must be paid before students receive any learning material.
Three easy payment options are available:
  • E-Check (free) service available when paying directly from the falltuition invoice.  (click “view invoice” followed by “pay now” on the invoice screen)
  • Credit Card by visiting the CHBA website cohonorband.org  (select “member portal“, then “pay my tuition“)
