Are you interested in simple, easy ways to earn money for your CHBA account? We have several great options available for you. The dollars you earn are recorded in your own personal credit account, and you may apply these funds towards music books, monthly dues, band camp, and trips. You choose when and how to use your CHBA credits. Just let us know!

Scrip Program

  • How does it work?

Great Lakes Scrip Company contracts with hundreds of retailers to sell their gift cards. They, in turn, sell them to non-profit organizations, such as CHBA. You buy these gift cards at face value and redeem them at face value, but you also earn a rebate back for your CHBA account for each card ordered. The cards are shipped to CHBA, and you may pick them up when you come to rehearsal.

  • How much do I earn?

The retailers offer a 2-16% rebate on all orders. CHBA splits the percentage earned in an 80-20 split. You earn 80% for your account, and CHBA earns 20% to cover the shipping and handling costs of the cards and the banking expenses.

  • How do I get started?

It’s easy! You will create your own account online at www.shopwithscrip.com using CHBA’s enrollment code, and then you can start shopping. Please contact our parent coordinator, Diana Johnson, at dnurses@q.com for details.

King Soopers Cards

  • How does it work?

By paying for your King Soopers groceries with a re-loadable King Soopers card purchased through CHBA, you earn back a rebate for your personal CHBA account.

  • How much do I earn?

You earn 3% of each dollar amount uploaded to your King Soopers card. We receive a report from King Soopers at the end of each month, and we credit your account accordingly.

  • How do I get started?

Contact Susan Smith at ssmith@cohonorband.org to order your card. She will need to know the dollar amount you would like to be initially loaded onto the card. (You may choose any amount.) The card will be sent to CHBA, and you may pay for your card by check or cash when you pick it up. Once you have your card, you may reload it at King Soopers when you shop.

World’s Finest Chocolates

  • How does it work?

You take a box of chocolate bars from CHBA, sell yummy chocolate to your co-workers or schoolmates, bring back your earnings to CHBA, and earn money for your CHBA account!

  • How much do I earn?

Chocolate bars sells for $1.00 each, and you earn $0.45 per bar. Each box contains 50 chocolate bars, so you earn a total of $22.50 for each box sold.

  • How do I get started?

Contact Susan Smith at ssmith@cohonorband.org to let her know that you’d like a box of chocolates. If we don’t have a box in stock in the CHBA office, we will order one for you.
