On Colorado Gives Day 2010, friends of CHBA donated over $10,000 in support of music education for kids! Plus, CHBA received over $400 from the incentive fund!  Thank you so very much for your support!

What is CO Gives Day?

Colorado Gives Day is a new initiative to increase philanthropy in Colorado through online giving. Presented by Community First Foundation and FirstBank, CO Gives Day takes place during a 24-hour period in December. Donations are accepted through the website GivingFirst.org, with a goal of raising $1 million in one day for Colorado charities.

Will there be an Incentive Fund?

Yes!  In 2010, presenting partner FirstBank provided $250,000 as the lead gift for a Colorado Gives Day Incentive Fund. The Incentive Fund is used to increase the value of each gift made through GivingFirst.org on Colorado Gives Day, and will be proportionally allocated among all donations.

Who Will my Donation Benefit?

When you donate through GivingFirst.org, 100% of your tax-deductible donation comes to CHBA and directly benefits our students by helping us maintain our renowned instrumental music programs, our quality faculty, and our high teacher-to-student ratios.  Please consider CHBA in your end of the year giving!

Can I Give to CHBA on Other Days?

Absolutely!  You can give through GivingFirst.org on any day of the year!
